And that starts with Neil Hambly, the owner of XYZ Tool who is also the craftsman whose machining expertise and superb craftsmanship will fulfill your needs and to your exacting specifications.

Machining runs in Neil’s veins. His father was a toolmaker. His grandfather was a toolmaker. And Neil began his training in the tool and die field at a young age. Thirty years later, Neil combines ‘Old School’ experience with cutting-edge technological knowledge for a potent mix where XYZ Tool is the optimal choice for all your machining needs.

While only a freshman in high school, Neil began his career part time operating machines for a large tooling company. He went on to complete a four-year apprenticeship as a tool maker with the same company. He then expanded and honed his skills on CNC machines. He’s also a certified mold maker.

Recognized for his outstanding and extensive abilities as a toolmaker, he quickly advanced to serve as a leader and foreman with other large firms. Today, he is an expert craftsman with permanent molds, vacuum dies, tool room work and high speed machining methods. With high speed machining, he specializes in the machining of billet aluminum products.

Several years ago, Neil and his wife Carol decided it was time to fulfill their dream of operating their own CNC machine shop. His prior employers have come to them with some of their more demanding projects. They also have a proven track record of quality and precision with clients in the automotive and motorcycle parts industries.
